Passing through: Everglades

We decided since it was so cold on the West Coast that we would make our way to the Keys a little earlier than planned. On our way we caught Alligator Alley (U.S. Route 41, Everglades Parkway), it's a main road that cuts right through the state of Florida and as the name says, it's pretty much flooded with Alligators.

We saw a turn-off where we could park, take a potty break and also take some pics of these beautiful dinosaurs.

We also stopped in Everglades City just to take a small detour. It's a cute little town with beautiful buildings and scenery.

Are there really enough Panthers to cause traffic? Goodness![/caption]
