Captured Moments = Priceless

It seems the more things I want to post about, the more I can't keep up!
Since I feel this way, this post is going to be mostly pictures of some moments I captured over the last several weeks.
I hope you enjoy!!
The skies are always so beautiful and forever changing in Sedona.

I fell in love with a bug!

This was the first time I've EVER seen one of these fantastically, beautiful bugs.

This super shiny spider, that I have yet to identify. I thought it had its front legs picked up but I count 8 legs on the ground...must be fangs! Yikes!

Chili Moon spotted these guys!

A hot air balloon almost carried us away....

Just kidding!
But it did actually land about 50 yards away from us!

And then another one landed just up on the hill
I guess you just never know where the next adventure will come from.... maybe the sky!
The last of three Super Moons

The view from one of our favorite spots in Sedona

The beauty of Tlaquepaque and Los Abrigados Park

And (some of) the great people that make this life one more (big) part of why we love living in 'the wild'

I think I was set up! haha

PEACE

Hanging Tough

We had a great few weeks in Sedona. We actually camped with other people...gasp! If you know us, then you know we usually camp alone due to most people not being able to make it to where we are. At first it was difficult, for me, due to expending a ton of mental energy and not getting enough down time in between visits to refresh myself. I love our friends and road family but I'm learning I need a lot more down time for balance...it's quite exhausting to be around people, period.
Having said all of that, even though it was really different camping with people it was nice at the same time. We all got together on Sundays for Football, we did group Yin Yoga classes, the guys got together for guitar lessons while the girls did pedicures and we even went on a "field trip" to Sedona!

Can't go wrong. Brats, Sausages and burgers!!

Yoga time

Joe's statue!

Silly girls

The gang at the Three Pigs Fountain

Lunch at El Rincon

I'm sure there's much more fun on the horizon.

Old Life Meets New Life!!

Like I said in my last post, I'm going to try something a little different with my blog and NO, I'm not changing the name again! haha

I thought this way might make me want to post more and also make it (mentally) easier for me.
Let me know what you think!!

We went up to Camp Harris and watched football, as we've been doing for the past 3 Sundays. It's been a blast, hanging with everyone, gabbing, eating, watching ball. Yesterday was a special day for me though, because one of my best girls came for a short but sweet visit!

My old life meets my new life!!! They met Bobby!!

My beautiful Barbie!!!

It was great to see them. It was my first time meeting Paul and he is just thee absolute sweetest guy, they play well together! I told her if she keeps this visiting stuff up, we may have to make this an annual event, since she drove all the way from Denver last October to visit us in Georgia....now that's a good friend.
I love you Jess, see you soon!!!

Let's see if this lightbulb works!

Like I said in my last post...It seems like we have all the time in the world, but end up busier than ever with "not enough time" to finish "everything"! Well, not much has changed in the last month.

When we first got to this new spot, we had blazing fast wifi, then within a couple of days, it was almost impossible to open one single page. Those days started adding up from 2 to 5 to 9 to 10 days, after the 10th day I tried to get online but couldn't really get much done. We would have moved to a different spot, but we have people camping with us (rare) and couldn't move everyone, so we decided we would stay and just deal with it. Now, we figured out if we put the hot-spot in one certain area of the van, it works with almost no glitches...but it's kind of a pain in the butt spot, so I'm dealing.

As you can see, I'm quite bored!

I also decided I was going to try something different with my blog, so we'll see how that goes! It just seems like it takes way too much mental energy and time to sit down and write, write, write. It's truly exhausting. So, I am going to play around with some things and see how it goes. As I play around with this new way, I will be updating some things that have been happening around here....seems like a ton of stuff has happened in the past month, so it should be fun going through it all!

Catching up on their beauty rest. You know the other 16 hours they get just isn't enough!!

The weather has been roller coaster like, going from nice, hot and sunny for a week to rainy, cold and windy for 3-5 days.  This week we're on the down slope and ready for more rain on Tuesday, so we'll be bundling up for a couple of days. We would start moving South but we are tying up a few loose ends here first, then....we're moving on down!

Tomorrow is supposed to be the last nice day for about a week and everyone will get together to watch football up at Camp Harris. Another major plus of the day will be seeing my friend Jess & her man, who are passing through from Denver. I haven't seen her in a year, so it should be a super fun visit!!

We were getting some Mama G's Pizza and were pretty stoked! October 2014

 See you soon!
