Tai Shan: Act 2

Today was a pretty exciting day. I woke up with almost 100% back in my ankle, I'm going to thank my Quartz and Magnetite for helping me on that...Thank you ladies! It's moving day folks! We have been talking over the past couple of days about maybe moving to a different spot to get more sun for the Solar panels. We scoped some out (within a minute walking distance) but really didn't want to move away from Tai Shan. We have been checking the sun and spots around us to see where the sun hits the most and for the longest length of time during the day...we finally found the perfect spot. This whole time we have been sitting in the shade, pretty much all day. We would get sun for about 3 hours a day. The other day we had a very cloudy day and we noticed that our control panel was orange, not green like it should be when it has a good charge. That was the deciding factor, if we get one cloudy day and it sits on orange all day...what if we get another cloudy day behind it? Not good for anything or anybody. The spot we chose is literally only 25 yards away from where we have been this whole time and it gets sun a good 8-9 hours of the day. This is going to change here pretty quick due to the seasons changing and the sun sinking behind the trees but we will take all we can get for as long as we can get it! We moved the van first, little bit of a headache but we accomplished it. It's a little nerve-racking to have to be the one to tell the driver where to stop, when to go back a little more and all that jazz when we are sitting on a huge boulder...one foul turn and I'm not even going to say it. I just kept thinking, "Great, we're gonna have to do this every time we go into town! Awesome." haha

After Joon Van was in place and level, I started moving over the kitchen. Boy, oh boy have we accumulated some stuff! The good part is it's about 90% food that will go inside of Joon Van when we are moving but moving that kitchen was almost an entire day....for me, anybody else it probably would have taken them an hour. I just like my stuff organized, clean and accessible...and in a very certain way!

We were going to keep the tarp over where it has been but J' said he'd miss me too much if I was over there all day so he fanagled me up a new tarp area by the van....awwwww! This area was a bit harder to tarp up since there are no close trees but with rope, bungies and my creative babaa' it was no thang but a chicken wang!

He even installed a Nature Pole to hold  it up, he's so cute.

After the kitchen was finished we sat and did some things on the computer and ended up messing with the tarp a little more. The sun sure does shine bright right here! We had to put up a loaner tarp (SoulRaven is letting us borrow) in front of the van because that sun was just cooking me and Nana bug.

All in all we LOVE our new spot, it has a lot of great energy. Crazy what moving over just a few feet can do for the soul! I'm excited to get some good pics of us in this spot, it looks like we are teetering up on a big rock...oh wait we kind of are! Until tomorrow my friends, rest peacefully...

PEACE
